MTX SW1515 Speaker

The MTX SW1, SW2, SW1010, SW1212 and SW1515 powered subwoofers were created to meet the needs of the demanding audiophile while delivering the dramatic Low Frequency Effects (LFEs) that are essential to any complete home theater.

The SW1 is designed to add impact and realism to recorded music and film scores while fitting snuggly in small spaces. The SW1 comes equipped with a Class A/B 100 watt amplifier with a 40 Hz-160 Hz frequency response. They say dynamite comes in small packages, and this baby can definitely boom.

Other step up products include the 10" SW1010, the 12" SW1212 and the 15" SW1515. All three models contain Active Compression Circuitry that can deliver teeth rattling low frequencies without break up or coloration. This technology evaluates the input signal and protects against harmful spikes to avoid clipping.

Each of the step up models include a redesigned on-board amplification system. The SW1010 delivers 100 watts of amplification, the SW1212 130 watts and the SW1515 boasts 250 watts. The SW1515, while bigger than the others, also features a powerful Class D Amplifier that allows higher output at lower frequencies.
